Greg "The Hammer" Valentine almost snuck into becoming the WWE Champion after this airplane spin on Bob Backlund knocked out the official.

Backlund pinned Valentine, but "The Hammer" jumped up like he won. The official raised Valentine's hand in victory and gave him the title!

The confusion was later cleared up and the title returned to Backlund. The champion won a rematch, asserting himself as the true champion.
